Cyanjel Home Care LLC ("Cyanjel Home Care", "we", "us") operates cyanjelhomecare.com and the Cyanjel Employee Portal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who it is shared with.

SMS / Text Messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We send text messages only to our own caregivers, and only about their work: reminders to clock in for a scheduled shift through HHAeXchange, notice when a clock-in has not been recorded, and occasional operational announcements from the office. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Consent. Caregivers provide their mobile number and agree to receive these messages in the Cyanjel Employee Portal. Consent is recorded with a date and time, and is not required as a condition of employment.
Frequency. Varies with the caregiver's schedule, typically a small number of messages per shift day.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or turn them off in the Employee Portal. Reply HELP for assistance, or call (888) 772-5460.
Messages never contain a client's name, address, or any health information.

Information we collect

From caregivers and applicants: name, mobile number, email address, employment and credentialing records, training and certification progress, and scheduled shift times with clock-in and clock-out records.

From website visitors: information you submit through a contact or careers form, and standard server logs.

We do not store client or patient identity in our scheduling and reminder system. A shift is recorded by time and reference code only; the link to the person receiving care remains inside HHAeXchange, the state-mandated electronic visit verification system.

How we protect it

Phone numbers and email addresses are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to authorized office staff, and changes are recorded in an append-only audit log.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share only what is necessary with service providers who help us operate:

HHAeXchange: electronic visit verification, as required by Pennsylvania Medicaid.
OnPay: payroll processing.
Our SMS provider: delivery of the messages described above.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect someone's safety.

Your choices

Caregivers may review or update their contact details in the Employee Portal, withdraw SMS consent at any time, or request a copy or deletion of their personal information by contacting the office. Some employment and Medicaid records must be retained for a period set by law.
