SMS messaging terms & consent

Cyanjel Home Care sends work-related text messages to its own caregivers. This page explains exactly what we send, how a caregiver agrees to receive it, and how to stop at any time.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

Cyanjel Home Care LLC operates a single text-messaging program. It is used only to run shifts: reminding our caregivers to clock in, telling them when a clock-in appears to be missing, and passing on occasional operational notices from the office.

This is not a marketing program. We do not send promotional text messages, we do not text the general public, and we do not text clients or their families. Messages go only to people employed by Cyanjel Home Care who have asked to receive them.

Who receives these messages

Only current Cyanjel Home Care caregivers and office staff, using the mobile number they entered themselves in the Cyanjel Employee Portal. Nobody is added from a purchased list, a referral, or a form filled in by someone else. We do not send text messages to anyone who is not on our payroll.

How caregivers opt in

Consent is collected through a web form in the Cyanjel Employee Portal, the private area each caregiver signs into after they are hired. On the page where a caregiver saves their mobile number there is a separate, unticked checkbox. Saving a phone number on its own does not switch messages on. The caregiver has to tick the box.

This is what that control looks like in the portal:

When a caregiver ticks the box, we record the date and time, and store a verbatim copy of the wording they agreed to. If that wording is ever revised, existing records keep the version each person actually saw.

The consent wording, in full

“I agree to receive text messages from Cyanjel Home Care about my shifts and schedule, including clock-in reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”

What we send

Representative messages from the program:

Cyanjel Home Care: Reminder, your shift starts at 9:00 AM. Please clock in through HHAeXchange when you arrive. Reply STOP to opt out.

Cyanjel Home Care: We have not received a clock-in for your 9:00 AM shift. Please clock in, or call the office at (888) 772-5460. Reply STOP to opt out.

Cyanjel Home Care: Your timesheet correction has been approved. No further action is needed. Reply STOP to opt out.

Messages never contain a client's name, address, or any health information. A shift is referenced by time and an internal code only.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies with each caregiver's schedule, typically a small number of messages on a day they are working, and none on a day they are not.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Cyanjel Home Care does not charge for these messages; any charge comes from the caregiver's own mobile carrier under their plan.

How to stop messages

  • Reply STOP to any message. Messages stop, and we record the withdrawal.
  • Or untick the box in the Employee Portal. Removing the mobile number also counts as withdrawing consent.
  • Opting out never affects anyone's employment, shifts, or pay.

Getting help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You can also call the office on (888) 772-5460 or email info@cyanjelhomecare.com.

Carrier support

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on the caregiver's carrier and device.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile numbers are encrypted where they are stored, and access is limited to authorized office staff. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
